At the General Assembly of the British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania (BCCL), two new members were elected to the Board, a new Chair of the Board was appointed, and – earlier this autumn – a new Executive Director joined the organization.
Gary Bills, Head of Ignitis Renewables, and Olga Petroševičienė, Partner at Ellex Valiunas, joined the BCCL Board. They replaced the outgoing Chair Lauras Butkevičius, who stepped down due to career changes, and Dovilė Vyčinė, who has recently taken on the role of Executive Director.
Dovilė Vyčinė officially assumed her new position in September 2025.
Alongside the newly elected members, the Board continues to include Mariano Andrade, Head of Johnson Matthey Global Business Services Lithuania; Andrew Prosser, Head of The British School of Vilnius; and Neringa Petrauskaitė, Partner at We Are Marketing. Neringa Petrauskaitė has been elected as the new Chair of the BCCL Board.
“I’m delighted to introduce the new Board of the British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania – an exceptionally strong team of business community leaders and experts at the highest level. Their experience and engagement are key to strengthening commercial bridges between Lithuania and the United Kingdom. I’m especially proud of our new Chair – her sense of responsibility, dedication, and commitment over recent years have clearly shown that she’s exactly the kind of leader we need to achieve our ambitious goals,” said Dovilė Vyčinė, Executive Director of BCCL.
“Since relaunching its operations just last year, the Chamber has already created strong momentum. Business connections in the UK, event plans in both Lithuania and the UK, upcoming projects, and new local and international partnerships all show great promise. Of course, this all takes time and a lot of effort – but I’m glad that the Chamber’s leadership sees the purpose and has the determination to pursue the best results.
Personally, I see the strengthening of Lithuania – UK economic relations as a meaningful tool in our country’s geopolitics – helping diversify business risks and foster mutual growth across sectors varying from FinTech to defence. Understanding the context of our times, I feel a strong sense of responsibility to give this my full commitment. It’s with that sense of duty that I take on the role of Chair of the BCCL Board,” said Neringa Petrauskaitė.
The British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania was founded in 1999. Its activities are supported and patronized by H.E. Liz Boyles, British Ambassador to Lithuania.
