Kaunas has transformed beyond recognition in the last decade, from a revitalized city center and old town to the modern Nemuno Sala, which has become one of Lithuania’s most important attractions. Together with the city, Žalgiris has also grown, and today it is not only a sports club but an integral part of Kaunas’ identity.
Paulius Motiejūnas, who served as the President of the EuroLeague for almost three years and returned to Kaunas this year, says that life abroad was a valuable experience, but he never had any doubts about where his home is.
